Shotokan Karate
Norwich Karate Academy are a traditional Shotokan karate club where a world recognised syllabus is followed. NKA are affiliated to the Japan Karate Shoto Renmei (JKS) which is one of the biggest and best know karate governing bodies in the world. Each grade/belt is recognised by this prestigious organisation.
A Family Club
Above all else, Norwich Karate Academy is a place where you can train and meet new people. Our karate classes have a friendly atmosphere which is perfect for all ages and abilities to train together. NKA have a priority to ensure everyone feels welcome and at home at our club, whether you want to learn karate, train for competitions or improve your fitness.
Competition Karate
One of Norwich Karate Academy's aims is to bring a more modern approach to karate training. Karate competitions are very popular to challenge members on a technical level as well as improving fitness. NKA holds weekly squad sessions with the goal of providing students with challenging training with a competitive goal.
